（Yifang Chu）From November 18th to 23rd, 2024, at the invitation of the Secretariat of World Internet Conference, 17MOFCOM Program studentsin software engineering from Nankai University attended the 2024 World Internet Conference (WIC) held in Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province, and participated in the very first WIC Global Elite Training (GET) Program.

On November 20th, at the main forum of Wuzhen Summit in 2024, WIC Digital Academy was officially launched. On November 21st, as the first comprehensive international capacity-building training for WIC Digital Academy, theWIC GET Programwas held. Ren Xianliang, Secretary-General of WIC and Dean of WIC Digital Academy, Jiang Xiaojuan, Professor of China Academy of Social Sciences and former Deputy Secretary-General of the State Council, and Barbara Lambs, Director of Trade and Investment Strategy and Policy Department of the United Nations International Trade Center (ITC) attended and delivered speeches.

At the seminar, Jiang Xiaojuan, Barbara Lambs, Zhou Hongyi, founder of 360 Group, Zhao Zhongxiu, academician of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts and president of university of international business and economics, gave lectures on topics such as "New Quality Productivity and Digital Economy", "Opportunities and Challenges of Cross-border E-commerce for SMEs", "Large Language Model Pushes Humans into the New Era of AI" and "International Trade Rules and Digital Transformation of Enterprises".
The 40 participant students in this GET program come from 32 developing countries, including 17 students from Nankai University, 20 students from university of international business and economics and 3 other students from Renmin University of China.
