(Chu Yifang) Recently, Mohamed Yayah Bah,a Sierra Leonean student from the class of 2024, Mofcom China-Aid program,reported good newsagain. Hewrote an academic paper titled "Enhancing Mobile Money Security: A Multi-layered Fraudulent Detection System Using Machine learning and multi-factor authentication” ,which was officially published in the April 2026 issue of the international Journal Software Engineering and Application.
Software Engineering and Application is an academic journal under the American Scientific Research Press. Prior to this, Yayah's classmate Aminata Bah published“The Hybrid machine learning model for early diabetes prediction in Sierra Leone”. Yayah became the second person to officially publish an academic paper before graduation since Nankai University hosted Mofcom China-Aid Master degree program.
