（Chu Yifang, Chen Yingyi）As time came to June, 2026, all 55 foreign students of the Mofcom program class 2024 would soon leave China and return to their motherland. On the occasion of parting, the international students made urgent calls, hoping to visit more places in the remaining time:
Track Paves Friendship Road: "Tianjin Plan" Appears in Central Asia
At the first stop of graduation exchange activities, international students were invited to visit Tianjin Rail Transit Group.

On May 16th, 2026, the first phase of Astana light rail project in Kazakhstan was officially opened to traffic. As the first fully-automatic urban rail transit line in Central Asia, the project fully adopts China standards and China equipments, and is constructed by Tianjin-based China Construction Sixth Bureau Corporation, with the deep participation of Tianjin Rail Transit Group in the whole process, which has become a benchmark achievement of the "Belt and Road" initiative.
Facing the extreme cold weather of -40 degrees Celsius in winter in Astana, the world's second coldest capital, the Tianjin team solved the problem with technological innovation-from the selection of special materials, the upgrading of cold-resistant equipment to the operation and maintenance of snow removal and melting, and built a full chain guarantee system, successfully overcoming the operation problems of tracks, vehicles and signal systems in extremely cold environment. There are 18 stations in the project, which are connected in series with landmarks such as airport, presidential palace and national museum, and carry more than 600 passengers in a single row, which will greatly optimize the local travel structure and activate the economic artery.
From construction consultation to operation and maintenance, Tianjin enterprises have been empowered all the time, and more than 500 professionals have been trained in the mode of "training in two cities", leaving a professional team that can't be taken away, realizing the organic unity of "hard connectivity" and "heart connectivity".

The New Engine of Digital Empowerment: Tianjin Digital Eco. Group Showed "Tianjin Smart Manufacturing"
Entering into the exhibition hall of Tianjin Digital Eco. Group, the students felt the strong pulse of Tianjin digital economy. Tianjin Digital Eco. Group, founded in 2023, is a SOE company under the governance of Tianjin SOE Commission, focusing on digital government affairs, artificial intelligence, data governance and other fields. Its subsidiaries have a long history and have their own characteristics: Computer Research Institute developed the first 130 minicomputer in China in 1959; The E-government System has been deeply cultivating smart cities for nearly 40 years; First, multimedia services, government collaborative office for more than 20 years.

Tianke Digital, the core enterprise of the group, was promoted to the innovation layer of the New Third Board in April 2026, and is making every effort to transfer to the Beijing Stock Exchange. In the business exhibition area, the Party Organization Work Platform covers more than 14,000 organizations in 31 provinces across the country; Xinchuang collaborative system serves more than 1000 units in Tianjin, realizing four-level linkage; The annual sales of digital collection platform has exceeded 7 million yuan, and it is building the most influential digital asset service platform in the north.

Greener Travel: Yadea Group leads the global E-bike making
Yadea Tianjin is the largest production base of Yadea Group in north China. In Tianjin Yadea Industrial Co., Ltd., the students witnessed the vivid practice of "Made in China" going global. Yadea Group Holding Co., Ltd. was established in 2001, and in 2016, it became the first Hong Kong-listed enterprise in the domestic electric vehicle industry. In 2025, the company achieved a revenue of 37.008 billion yuan, ranking among the Fortune 500 in China, and its products were exported to over 100 countries and regions around the world, with over 40,000 stores worldwide.

Yadea has ten production and research bases in Tianjin, Jiangsu, Vietnam and Indonesia, with an annual production capacity of over 10 million vehicles. The company insists on innovation drive, owns over 1900 patents, and introduces core technologies such as TTFAR long battery life, graphene battery and sodium ion battery. In November 2025, Yadea officially entered the Japanese market. Yadea adheres to the mission of "making billions of people enjoy beautiful travel", and users around the world have saved 63.9 billion kilograms of carbon by cycling, which has won the MSCI ESG AAA rating. From Southeast Asia to Latin America, Yadea is reshaping the global travel pattern with green technology.

Talented people gather to empower human resources for China enterprises going global

On June 30th, 2026, the international student exchange activities hosted by Tianjin Economic Development Area (TEDA) Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and undertaken by Nankai University School of Software and Tianjin Human Resources Service Export Base were successfully held. More than 50 Mofcom program students gathered in Bincheng on the theme of "linking Asia and Africa countries and gathering digital talents".

During the event, international students visited the human resources service export base and watched the promotional film of the Economic Development Zone. Deng Yanzhuo, deputy director of the Economic Development Zone Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, delivered a speech, and Tian Jun, vice president of the School of Software of Nankai University, talked about the achievements of the 10-year Mofcom program. TEDA Development Company and Tianjin Foreign Enterprise Expert Service Company respectively introduced the achievements of the construction of human resources service industrial park and export base.
At the exchange session, Representatives of Tianjin Guanghehui Technology, Shizhi Manpower, and Inspur Communications gave lectures to share the demand for international talents and cooperation opportunities. Wang Anbo, Director of the Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security of the Economic Development Zone, and Sai-Wan Lau, Deputy Secretary of Tianjin Foreign Service company, jointly presented letters of appointment for senior consultants of human resources service export to all international students.
In the subsequent discussion and exchange, all parties discussed in depth issues such as the cross-border flow of digital talents and the cooperation between university and local government bodies to empower enterprises going global, which built a solid bridge for deepening the cooperation between Chinese and foreign human resources.
